I've had this camera for a few months now and am completely satisfied with the look, feel, size and quality. Let's start by saying that this camera is really small! I always knew it was advertised as the smallest in the world but it really is that tiny! When used with a pancake lens, this camera can be carried in a jacket/coat pocket all day and is a great tool for street photography. I also have an E-510 and apart from the lack of Image Stabilization I would say that this camera is a huge improvement over the E-x10 series. First, the JPEG engine and new sensor is a notable improvement that shows in the picture. qualitative. The camera also has much better dynamic range and doesn't clip highlights like the E-510, making it very easy to use. While the auto white balance isn't as accurate as the E-510 and tends to warm up colors a bit, it still looks very good and isn't really a problem. The noise is also very well controlled even at ISO 1600, the noise is very fine-grained and as such inconspicuous. In response to another poster, this camera's autofocus speed is pretty fast and extremely accurate and nowhere to be found. Live View with face detection is a great feature when you're taking group shots or letting someone else take the picture with the camera. Contrast-detect AF is a bit slow, but works as intended and is fairly accurate too (not as accurate as TTL phase-detect AF). Overall this is a great package for the price and excellent value for money. This camera is also the perfect camera when you need something to carry around without sacrificing image quality. I highly recommend this camera.
