Bought because I needed something that would quickly vacuum up the grass and dirt a dog can pick up on the tile floor and didn't want to spend a lot. This vacuum is acceptable for that. Suction is mediocre but picks up grass and other light objects WHILE the nozzle is on the ground (mine often sticks out a bit when I pull it towards me and I have to step on it to get it flush with the ground again make). Floor). It's practically useless for anything other than cleaning surfaces on carpets. What I really like are the two suction levels and that the on/off switch and the suction level control are integrated into the trigger on the handle. It's light and maneuverable, and the battery charges fairly quickly. If you just want easy and cheap vacuuming, this will work. I don't find it acceptable as a main vacuum cleaner.
