I am 5'8" as well and weigh 158.4 lbs with about 18-20% body fat, the Medium was a noticeably longer on the arms to where it would cover my hands almost completely if i didn't button the sleeves, the length of the body was quite long as well and would seem perfect for someone that is about 5'11"-6'; as for me it the jacket hangs exactly halfway between my knees and hips when worn. Makes me feel like a kid when I wear the jacket lol, definitely built for the Tall European/American men (I happen to be of Indian Descent). Still the quality of this jacket is incredible ill probably just hand this one to a friend and buy the smaller one. The only thing i didn't like aside from the size confusion is the hoodie, I just don't like how it attaches to the jacket; thank god its removable. Hope this helps future buyers
