After reading the reviews I thought it would be sooooo small even for my Morkie daughters but it is amazing in every way. The opening is larger than a carry-on (perfect size to provide the privacy a dog desires) and the material is sooo smooth and cool to the touch, it's lightweight and beautifully finished with a top zip closure. It doesn't tip over when he walks in, and it's the perfect spot for a private getaway. The pillow is unattached and stays in place and you can flip it to change color. Even the floor is soft without a pillow. I can't say enough about this product so yes I would highly recommend it for your pet. I bought two, one for my 11 lb Shi-Poo and her dog (7 lbs) and they both love them and have plenty of room inside. Can also accommodate a slightly larger small dog. My daughter Morky is only a year old and when we opened it to Santa he was so excited and jumped in just before the roof closed but after a few NO's he just learned to use the door instead of heading for the roof jump. Both love their new homes and encourage you to buy one for your dog.
