I bought this key fob to replace my old key fob (the battery clip broke but the electrical components were still in Order). The new replacement looks good but I have one major complaint that the key ring slot was too small. I had to force the keychain. The key ring is now sticking out straight and no longer moves freely. Another criticism was that the silicone buttons on the new key fobs didn't have bonded metal contacts. The new key fob comes with metal contacts glued to the circuit board. So my old circuit board won't work with the new silicon buttons unless I remove the tape and metal contacts from the old to the new. To fix this I just moved my old silicone buttons to the new key fob, but the new plastic doesn't look as pretty. I haven't tried programming the new board so I don't know if it will work or not, but it was the cheapest option I could find that would give me the battery clip I needed.
