Better than HM Aeron

I have back pain and have to sit in my chair a lot at work which can be uncomfortable. My last writing chair was the Herman Miller Aeron. This chair is incomparably more comfortable than the Aeron. The HMA's seat is made of woven nylon, which, while just a stretchy fabric, was a bit too stiff for me. I couldn't sit in this chair for hours and even found myself swapping it out for another chair from a colleague and it was a $39 special from Staples. The bungees work great on this Italmodern chair. The bungee is positioned so you don't feel it individually unless you notice (like me with a sense of relief) that it gives way as you move, and deep down expect some discomfort. habit - but it is not. The build quality of the chair is excellent. Assembly was easy and hassle-free. You loosen the four screws and place the bottom support on the underside of the seat. Snap the center post into the bottom of the reel and then the seat onto it, all without tools. Everything fits perfectly. You slide the backrest into place, attach two armrests with two screws each (Allen key included), two security screws to hold the backrest in place, and you're done. No fiddling with time-consuming assembly. The controls all work correctly. The rubber on the armrests feels good under bony elbows. The only thing that annoys me about this purchase is that the black was way more expensive than any other color, but that's the way of life and as self-serving as it is, it's not a reflection of a superior product.
