I was looking for the perfect golden bauble for my son's room. I bought another set but when I saw the gold ball in the box it looked more like dark copper than shiny gold. I didn't take out the plastic and sent it back. I bought this because a photo in the reviews convinced me it's just the shiny gold I need. I paid a little more even though I only needed one gold ball because all the reviews showed mixed colors of gold. In any case, after opening this box, it was still the same dark gold. But after taking it out and collecting the ball, I realized that the reason for this amount of gold is because it depends on the LIGHTING. So I took the time to show different colors with and without the flash. Just in case someone else had the same problem. My son's room was finally ready.
