It's a good idea to buy these and take them with you when you travel. I'm one of those very prepared travelers, I like to have little things on hand in case something breaks. One day my husband's zipper broke in half. I had something similar on hand and he could use a backpack. In fact, he still uses the backpack as it is in perfect condition except for the broken zipper. So they're not just for people with arthritis, although they make unzipping easier. I would highly recommend them to anyone just in case and for easy zip use.
