Great tool best for people who don't open grenades often

When I opened the box and saw this product I was tempted to return it immediately. That looks ridiculous. I highly doubted it would work. Luckily I tried. It works really, really well. I have a pomegranate tree growing in my garden and this season I have stalked about 50 of them. The biggest problem with using it is finding the right tool to hammer with. After heavy spoons didn't work, I tried an ice cream scoop as another reviewer suggested. It works very well. However, it is important to be gentle. You don't want to break the pomegranate, just tap it lightly until the seeds fall out. I pound on it until the outer covering is torn. Be careful not to break it as you will lose a lot of juice and mix a lot more dirt into the stems. When cutting off the crown, be careful to only cut off the crown and not cut into the pomegranate itself. , exposing Arils. If there are no protrusions, then you don't need to use the soft top of the tool. When you're not using it, you have a lot more control, allowing you to see when the grenade's outer shell is starting to break. However, if you exposed fluff when trimming the crown, you'll need to use the soft top of the tool to keep the pods from flying through your kitchen. When I used the tool, I used it for 4-6 grenades at a time. After extracting the seeds from each pomegranate, I poured the instrument's contents into a pot of water, where the debris floated to the surface and the seeds sank. One evening I did an experiment where I opened two grenades with the usual hand technique and two grenades with a tool. The tool was 30-45 seconds faster than my hand technique, but the tool will probably be a lot faster for people who don't open a lot of grenades. The tool also has another benefit: less clutter. In my experience, you get less spatter with this tool than with your hand. I highly recommend this tool to people who don't often open grenades. While it works well for me and works a bit faster than manual, I've come back to manual at least this season. It's more fun by hand, and if you do it right, there are fewer cuts or broken barrels. However, it is a great tool. I'm still surprised it works.
