Hello! I am a traveling nurse using my RV for a long term campground in Virginia. I bought these pads a few weeks ago to stabilize my camper. Well after reading the reviews I didn't measure the tire clearance and the pads didn't fit as some other customers had the same experience. But since this is such a high quality and durable product I don't want to return it. Instead of placing them vertically I placed them horizontally as you can see in the picture. I read a review that asked this question and the manufacturer didn't approve of it. I do not understand why. Can you explain. All in all this is an amazing product. You won't get it back! Just explain why the horizontal adjustment doesn't work. Many Thanks.
