My daughter loved this water bottle. My husband hand washed it and noticed some residue on the inside of the bottom which he couldn't remove but figured it didn't matter much. Filled it with water and sent my 4 year old to school. When she got home and I unpacked her bag, I noticed it was almost full and asked her why she hadn't had any water today. She told me he had bad taste. So my husband took a sip and immediately spat it out. Such a terrible chemical taste. Then my husband told me about the residues downstairs. We emptied the bottle and found that there is now water between the inner and outer layers. Also, a green liquid began to flow inside. So disappointed! I hope what gets in isn't toxic. :(
