Really sharp, wide jaws, cut effortlessly.
I almost sent them back because there were no instructions and I didn't realize that the folding 'spring' held by a small magnet on the handle had to be reversed in order to work properly (it closes for storage). Once my lizard brain figured this out, they were very easy to use. I actually trimmed a bit of the extra large toenail because I'm used to cheap clippers slipping off halfway. They just cut through my old man's hard nails like butter. They also leave a clean, snag-free edge like the cheap ones that seem to crush the nail around the cut. The finish is superb, smooth and stylish.
