I bought this because I have a severe nickel allergy and the price was a lot cheaper than buying a nickel free belt. I have been very wary of nylon straps because in my experience the clasp never holds them and they tend to loosen throughout the day - but not this one! This belt buckle is made of hard plastic and will hold your belt securely in place. I love that I no longer rely on pre-punched holes in my belt to find the right size for me. It's so convenient and easy to tighten it in a suitable place and close the buckle. It's even easy to unzip! I was originally going to buy just one strap but love the colors that come with the double strap and am so thankful I got two! I wear one in my work pants and the other in my casual pants. These bands look great and are so comfortable to wear. The only problem with them is that the elastic loop that secures the "extra belt" (after you've tightened it) can sometimes slip off when you pull the belts out of your pants. but if you're thinking of holding onto it or picking it up off the ground, that's no problem. I will definitely get more of these! 1 YEAR UPDATE: These straps are still going strong. They are exactly the same as the day I bought them. Very durable, very comfortable. You haven't lost any strength or anything else. I also recommend!
