I usually wear Nike Men's size 8.5 or Adidas size 8, and the size "S-M" in these socks are far too big. They fit, but just feel too loose around my feet. (As a disclaimer, I do tend to prefer more fitted socks, so I may be biased.)The design of these socks are also misleading. They have R and L printed on the socks, but there is absolutely not difference in the support, compression, or shape that make them assymmetrical at all. They are pretty much just printed on there for marketing. Might be willing to try these again if they make a smaller size, but I was overall disappointed.
