First of all they are much more expensive than classic picture hooks so if you are hanging a picture I would go for old style hooks. That being said, my wife and I have been visiting national parks for the last few years and I wanted to include some of my photos in a collage (20+ photos) of our experiences and the beauty we saw. This is where those command strips shine. It's much easier to put together a collage of multiple images and use strips to position and align them correctly.
