I played around with different voltages to get clarity on the upper limits of the volume control. Although it operates at a lower voltage range I would caution you against going up the voltage if you want the best performance this nifty little amp is capable of. Very cool idea. Unfortunately you get what you pay for, very poor quality and a lot of uncontrollable distortion when you have to crank the volume above 75%. 200 watts is not the limit for this device. If you're just trying to hook up a couple of small computer speakers, this will likely work just fine.
