I ordered these socks for my husband because he is a big fan of this brand of socks. These crew socks are beautifully sewn, only a few threads need to be cut inside. He said they were surprisingly warm for their thinness. And not warm enough to make your feet sweat. Although they are made of 97% polyester and 3% spandex, they are still breathable. These crew socks have a compression feature around the midfoot and ankle. He said they had a good cuff so they hadn't slept all day but they left a noticeable dent around his calves. Maybe they just need to be broken up a bit more. I will update if this issue doesn't improve. He also said that despite being advertised as such, they are not too soft. He wears size 10.5 shoes and these socks fit his size. All in all a decent pair of socks for the winter and they definitely won't slip in his boots like ankle boots do.
