I rarely write reviews. It really must be something special. After living with this toaster for a week I have bought a second one in case it ever stops working and I have a backup in case it goes out of production. It takes up no more space than my former Braun single slot toaster (11 years old) and is packed with great innovations. Bread or a large bun is placed on a carriage that slides into the device and when everything is ready they can be taken out very easily. The threads toast and bake bread or thick cookies, resulting in a crispy crust that never overcooks. Yes, you might have to go through this twice if you want it to be really dark brown or burnt, but it works perfectly for me.
