Review on 🏕️ NTK Colorado GT: Spacious 8-9 Person 10x12 Outdoor Dome Camping Tent - 100% Waterproof 2500mm by Cody Cobbs

I love this tent! for camping and hiking

This review is based solely on setting up the tent in my large room, so it has not been field tested. Tent (easy to set up), can withstand rain, can stand, has enough floor space. During the initial installation, the tent took off. I have a target tent that takes forever to set up because of the 4 poles. I take my 3 and 5 year olds camping in the summer and they don't help when it comes to setting up the tent. The raincoat came through easily too. The quality of the tent is evident from the start. The materials feel thick and well made, especially the grain. This tent is basically a Cherokee with a big rain cover, so Gould gives you an idea of what it looks like. There are two doors, the area is 10x12 (10x10 says on the box). I wasn't able to fully open the rain cover, but it has two zippered vestibules that fold down in dry weather. I am 6ft tall and can stand in it. The quality is good, the zippers are strong, the seams are taped, everything looks very good. Best of all, the tent easily fits back into your bag. The only negative I have is the design of the doors that require you to unzip 2 times to get out. They open the inner door and the outer barred door. I chose this tent after looking at all the types, brands, styles etc and reading all the reviews of other NTK products. I will update my review after our first outing! Update 5/13: Install it in the backyard. Still nice and light, solid. The best part about it is its versatility, as you can have both lobbies fully open (both doors folded), both closed, or a combination. One downside I noticed is the lack of side windows, making ventilation a little less efficient. Helps keep both screens open as if facing the wind. UPDATE: 9/3/17 If I could give this tent 6 stars I would. Just got back from a weekend camp where it was very windy the first night (Harvey's remains were en route across Ohio. 20mph winds gusting 30+, a heavy downpour and a few more heavy rains. No only the tent stayed dry off the bone, the wind had little effect and the tent held up and got side kicks from the gusts of wind.My brother Coleman's tent (using the Weathertec system) fell through all night. As long as NTK continued to tents manufactures, I have will customer!
