It helps me through grief
Everyone who notices the bracelet asks for it and when I put it on I speak about the four legged love of my life. It seems to help me with grief. He was an assistant on duty (can't bring myself to call him a dog) so we didn't break up for 10 years. It's more like human death. I've always had a pet, but this is different and complicated. I feel like it does him credit and helps me move forward.
