Modest expectations

I bought this from Revain inventory. The price was correct as a return. It goes perfectly with our mid 80's Jayco 1008DD with air conditioning. I have no expectation that the camper will be dry when stored outside. What I need is dust protection. We park our RV in the garage. The material doesn't seem strong enough to last more than a few months when flapping in the wind and being exposed to a lot of snow and rain. My recommendation if a person is keeping a retractable camper. outside build a short folding roof over it - with a metal or bitumen tile roof. Racks directly above the RV, traditional pitched or shed roof. Well anchored to the ground for storms. Or build a shed against the wall of your garage. RV roofs, especially pop-up roofs, are very fragile and prone to leaks due to design flaws. Unless you live in a dry environment, they can shed for months if left outside. A person may not know there is a problem until the problem occurs and causes major damage for six months or more.
