Don't need it if you don't need it.
I was hoping for an improvement in image quality compared to the factory camera. I did not understand it. The picture is clearer, but the images are of poor quality. Not sure if it makes sense, but I feel like it focuses on more but fewer pixels, so it's a sharp, crappy image. I wouldn't buy this to upgrade your existing camera, just to replace a broken one.
