I was concerned that it would not fit well in my Subaru sedan with a regular rear seat (not an SUV or station wagon seat). It wasn't a problem at all. My car doesn't have headrests that are above the seat they're built into, but I was able to get the belts up and into the seat between the seat and the back panel (for lack of a better word). The center straps slid right into the gap as intended and I was able to slip the elastic straps at the front corners between the seat and the panel below. Great fit, easy to put on and take off with no problems. The only thing that really bothers me is how little liquid protection there is. My dog gets sick from time to time. He only started his pre-vomit routine last week, so I made sure to aim for the seat cover after all, which is why I bought it. We were only 2 blocks from work so thought I'd clean it up when we got there instead of stopping. When we got there I put it in and grabbed some paper towels. When I got back to the car I was shocked to see that the seat was slightly damp. Luckily there was very little moisture and it didn't really smudge, so it didn't soil the cloth seat, but I think it could have kept the moisture on the seat better than 'filtering' it. Keep using it, I could just put a towel underneath to add a layer of protection, or maybe sprinkle it with tape or something.
