It would be nice if this lock could somehow be accessed from the front. The bassinet is also very easy to lift and detach from the base using the side handles. So if you want to pick up your baby and move it to another room, it's very convenient! Finally, the mattress topper is very thin. and is easily removable (just velcro) so you can throw it in the wash with ease. However, I wish you could buy extra pads or have the bed sheet work with it (it doesn't) so you can change the bed sheet during the wash. Overall we are happy with it and I think it will come in handy for us as first time parents when we bring our newborn home!
