UPDATE (09/21/2020): I downgraded it by one star because of the awkwardness of getting the charging station clean keep . If you don't dry your toothbrush thoroughly after use, water will drip down and onto the charging station. Over time, the mixture of water and toothpaste settles on the base. Original Review: This toothbrush is perfect for anyone who loves dates. The main feature of this toothbrush is all the data it gives you when you connect it to your smartphone. When brushing your teeth, you must have your smartphone open with the app running so it can track your progress. After brushing, it shows you how well you brush your teeth. They divide your teeth into six zones and once you have satisfactorily cleaned all of your zones they will notify you. For me it takes about 2 minutes 20 seconds. If you brush it off, you'll get small rewards for hitting milestones. You can also set goals in the app. For example, you can tell it that you want to whiten your teeth for a certain number of days, after which the app will tell you what to do besides brushing (like flossing and mouthwash). It will track your progress toward your goal. The toothbrush works great and I use it instead of my Philips Sonicare which I am a big fan of. I think the biggest problem I have is how expensive the tips are. A pair of brushes is $30, which is even more expensive than my Sonicare brush heads. Compared to the Sonicare, I feel this brush does a better job of cleaning hard-to-reach areas compared to the Sonicare. This is probably because Oral-B has a smaller head, which makes it easier to clean teeth. Overall I am very happy with my toothbrush. Highly recommended, especially if you can afford it.
