Review on VANGUARD VEO SELECT41 BK: Versatile Backpack/Shoulder 🎒 Bag for DSLR, Mirrorless/CSC Camera or Drone, Black by James Womble

The pocket concept, layout and everything else is perfect for me. I like the functionality, size, appearance, design. As for that, I love this bag. I don't feel like it's very well done. After two months of normal/gentle use, the backpack strap came undone at the seams. Some of the straps/handles feel weak, which was evident in the case of the backpack strap. Nonetheless, I really liked the bag. Now to my issues with Vanguard USA. After I reported the issue to Adorama (a third party vendor), they advised me to contact Vanguard USA customer service to have the defective bag replaced. After speaking to Vanguard USA they asked me to send the bag back to them AT MY EXPENSE and they will send a new one. Send back a defective one in a box or similar. When I asked for a return label, they said it was against company policy. After evaluating my Fed-Ex, UPS, and USPS return, the cheapest return option for me was $40 for USPS return shipping. So now I lost an extra $40 on a $150 bag. I'm not exactly sure how I'm responsible for a defective bag, but here I am. I have a Vanguard tripod and one of their other Alta Sky cases for my 600mm lens. However, this customer experience really pissed me off at them and I'm not sure I would buy them again or recommend them in the future. ***UPDATE*** I received a call from a member of the Vanguard USA team and the representative was very polite and helpful. They offered to replace my bag and refund my shipping cost for the defective one back to them. I'm impressed with this sequel on their part as I wasn't really expecting anything, but I'm pleasantly satisfied. When I receive the replacement bag I will use it as usual and hopefully it will hold up well. I look forward to using this bag again as it has been my favorite of many photo bags so far.
