I'll start with the fur portion of the cable. For the price, the build quality is okay, but not what I would expect from a $40+ product at the time of purchase and review. It's not bad, but I definitely see problems in the future with the cables going from the neck body to the jack going to the IEM. Otherwise, the sound quality is phenomenal. I can't see much of a difference between using these and using straight wire on my DAP. On most of my devices, the latency is low enough that I can watch content without any obvious lag between video and audio. The only degradation in sound quality I noticed is that when the music isn't playing, there's a slight hiss for a few seconds before stopping. But I didn't notice anything while listening.
