It's thin and light, and when I first put it on the ear loops went over my ears automatically, so I didn't even need to make adjustments to insure that it was being worn properly. It makes it easier to breathe vs. using a surgical mask, but it also makes it easy to suck the mask tightly to your face when breathing in strongly, such as when you're singing and need to inhale quickly. But it's still better than a surgical mask.
