Setup to get the image was easy and took less than 10 minutes including app download time. The app is very intuitive to use. In the settings you can invite family members, set the time zone, enable or disable motion alerts. In the motion alarm, you can also adjust the sensitivity of the motion detection and schedule the time you want to turn on the motion alarm. In the advanced settings you can rotate the image, adjust the camera microphone and speaker volume. After getting the picture from the camera on my smartphone, I turned off the camera and installed the camera. For the height of the front chamber of the house, I chose the top of the outer wall just below the ceiling. I chose the corner of the garage door next to the front entrance as the location. At this point I could drive camera screws into wood instead of brick and see cars in the driveway and people walking to my front door. Using the supplied jig and a 3/32" bit, I drilled 3 mounting holes. Since I didn't have 115 volt outlets outside of the house, I drilled a 1" hole in the center of the jig and routed the camera wires into mine garage where I had 115 volt outlets I then attached the camera with 3 screws (included) and filled in the 1" hole outside with latex chalk. The camera's visual clarity in daylight and at night is excellent. I like the cloud storage option for this camera which can be used as a surveillance camera. I chose the 7 day cloud storage plan where you can have 3 cameras in one cloud storage plan. You can easily go back to a specific time and day to view in-app motion alerts and then download, delete, or cancel them. The price, features, ease of use, delivery and quality of this outdoor camera are excellent and I recommend this camera to anyone who wants a security camera.
