Review on GOLDEN FIELD 0837 PC Power Button Supply Switch with Computer Case Reset & HDD Button Switch - 1.6m Cable Length by Brian Samaiyar

I have a six year old computer that I use in the mornings to keep track of some secondary data. After updating some internal components, the front panel buttons became confused and stopped working properly. The only way to start it was to short-circuit the pins with a screwdriver - not a permanent solution. Golden Field's power button was a great solution. It is well made and easy to install. Contrary to what a previous reviewer said, the ports are very clearly labeled. It turns out there is an added bonus. The computer is under the table and slightly to the side (awkward to reach the contacts to short them out). The cable from the new button is the perfect length for easy access on my desk. I can add a second button and install it on my main computer.
