My Bose Wave radio is a bit dated, 12 years old and it sounded like a perfect replacement. But that's not the case! I've played high quality CDs with it and as the volume approaches the mid-range the high frequencies wash out. Bass is mediocre even with the included mega booster. The radio is very location sensitive, so you can't just place it just about anywhere. A typical telescopic antenna costs 75 cents. In addition, the function screen does not light up. It's very hard to see the on-screen logos and buttons in low light, like your living room. There is no treble or bass adjustment. I rate this as slightly better than your bedside alarm. Very disappointed that Sony called it by its name. Also no remote control.
