I have been using Fitbit for 4 years now. This is my 4th. I started charging and when the wand broke they sent me a new one. I later switched to the Alta and really liked its smoothness but not the features. The charge was better than more features and options. I was looking for something with a small strap and face with GPS and a heart rate monitor for hiking. I was thrilled when they released the Inspire HR. It has everything I expected and more. I haven't had a single problem with it. The charging cable is short, like the last two. I've always plugged my USB dice into extension cords and have never had any trouble charging. Batteries last 4-5 days. I love how it tracks my sleep cycles (awake, light sleep, deep sleep, and REM sleep). The GPS feature is great and linked to Strava. I like tracking long hikes and walks and comparing stats because I'm preparing for a hike and need to understand pace and timing. It's also great to see your heart rate at rest and during activity. I read some other reviews that this Fitbit has a few flaws. Looks like I got lucky this time. I hope Fitbit fixes them. I am a happy backpacker and will keep this one.
