Review on πŸ“¦ American Crafts 12x12-Inch Black AC Cardstock Pack - Includes 60 Sheets of Heavyweight, Textured Black Cardstock by Dawn Fischer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Paper seems great / packaging wasn't! **Update**

**Update** I have just received two more packs of this card set (a year later) and was very excited when I picked up the first pack from the store. Crate. Immaculate condition. Pulled out the second one. As you can see in my 5th and 6th photos. The first 13 sheets are unusable. Where the company's actual packaging is cut away from the box to allow you to touch/feel the paper, the paper has been folded back to render these pages unusable when used in conjunction with the 12x12" project. Box dimensions 12, 5x15.5x3.5". Both paper packs measure 12 x 12 x 1.5 inches in total. There was no wrapping in the box so it wouldn't slip inside the box. I sincerely believe this is a Revain/American Crafts issue. I honestly have no idea why I keep buying this paper when almost a quarter of the pack (60 pieces) is useless. This is the third year in a row I've been struggling with this problem. +++++++++ I have been making postcards and mini scrapbooks for over 15 years and have always used Bazzille (black) for my rugs. I need to make 24 photo albums for my daughter's K class, 65 photos each. Decided to look for something more sensible. The paper is very good, although not as thick as previous reviews have suggested. The color is not that strong. The texture is beautiful. Now for the delivery. I initially ordered three packs and each had damaged sheets. The package was torn/opened due to a shift in the shipping carton. There was no packaging in the box. Even a small piece of bubble wrap around all of those packages would probably have reduced the damage. I understood the issues before ordering and as I will be cutting this product this is not a problem. However, if you need to use it as a full sheet. not good. I'll probably order again given the price and the way I use it, but be aware.
