Review on Dreambuilder Magnetic Building Toy Generation by Matt Simpsons

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The weakest magnetic tiles I've ever seen.

At first you only get 68 magnetic plates. That's almost half the amount they send you! Magnetic tiles are not compatible in magnetic strength and size. Some sections are so weak they can't connect to other tiles, they can barely hold a small paper clip. The sizes of the parts do not match at all. The base of the wheels has no magnets, so a square magnet plate must be placed under pressure. The problem is only some of them fit and the rest are too loose to fit. The ones that fit are not very safe. The base of the wheels differs from those shown in the photos. The one I got is of much worse quality. They are made of ultra cheap plastic with sharp extrusion marks. The base is MUCH wider than a square tile, so it's awkward to build on without tilting the wheelbases toward each other. A wheel base without magnets (unlike the one in the picture) will not hold most square tiles either, no other tiles connect directly to the wheels. I regret the wasted money on this product.
