I like the fact that you can dim the brightness, change the temperature and change different colors too. You can attach it directly to the hot shoe or stand of the camera. It also has a magnetic back and comes with metal stickers that you can stick anywhere to be able to attach it to different surfaces. I'd say there really aren't any downsides other than I would like the battery to last a bit longer. It would be great if you could see more than 1 color at a time. I can definitely recommend it and am considering buying a second one.
