Review on πŸ”Œ MP HTS850 PowerCenter for Home Theater by Monster Cable (Discontinued) by Don Taniguchi

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Home cinema power center

For me, an extension cable is an extension cable. I can't tell some of them apart, but with the new plasma I figured why risk ruining a $2,000 item. I figured I'd get something with more joule surge protection. I love that they pre-labeled everything so you know which cable is which. That's probably what really convinced me. It was a lot cheaper to get it here than in local stores. Like 40% cheaper. One thing the company claims is that it adjusts the performance so there is no flickering on the TV. I don't see any but have never come across it? Pros: Color coded and labeled sockets, lots of slot, high joule protection. Cons: The blue power indicator is quite bright (like a night light). Do not plug in the "power supply" plugs. One complaint with the "cable companies" is that they say you can't plug the cable into the surge protector because it interferes with updates and communication between your computer and the box. So I don't care about their box, so I just let whatever "comes out of the box" through the surge protector instead of going in.
