It does the job. The size is great - both tall (for plates and such) and wide (to cover our plates without touching the edges). The only two issues I have is that it gets really hot if it's only been in the microwave for a minute or two. Second, the condensation it contains can be crazy for some foods, resulting in you having to wipe the inside of the microwave down right away. Not a big problem, but still a bit annoying. Other than that, it does the job, and I'd rather wipe away condensation than scrape food off the sides of the microwave.
