I have a 2018 Silverado that works great on a factory clutch. Its length is about 1 inch longer. I just took some thick o-rings and put a couple on each end and the pen stays secure and doesn't slide around. It seems well built, the locking end is tight. heavy duty. I've had it for a few months and it still looks brand new. I live in Michigan so we'll see how it holds up this winter when they start salting the streets. *****UPDATE**** 06/28/21. The only problem after 1 year of use is that the rubber of the dust cap is dry rotted, it would be nice if the cap could last longer than a year so that dust, dirt etc doesn't get into the locking mechanism.*** ****
