This is a quality bat and ball set. It is made of plastic but the thicker type is light. Our grandson from kindergarten this summer told us he needed more bats, so he had a choice, like real baseball players, and he needed them in different sizes and shapes. Since we are good grandparents, we ordered rackets and balls. This set immediately became his favorite. He says he plays ball better with him and can hit the ball further. We train with both the letter T and the serve. Even older kids usually prefer this racket over others. Now he says we should have just bought some of these as they are the best. We strongly recommend this set.
