Update - after we changed the type of adhesive to regular command strips for about $3 at the store they work as they should. It was easy to remove the original glue, just ripped it off with your fingers. Now, due to the better adhesive2, they can also hold a decent weight that keeps falling off a day after lifting. Glue isn't the best. Can't hold much weight, when used for curtains they should be almost weightless. Strength is also not the highest. But came as described.
