I am very happy with these sunglasses. I've bought several more expensive brands and returned them because I didn't like them. I was willing to spend $100 on a pair of sunglasses to have a pair that fit well and matched the style I wanted. When they worked so well I threw away my scratched spare pair and bought a second pair. Super happy with my purchase. The only decorative detail in the corners is blackened gold. It's not surprising, but it's dark enough not to be very noticeable, so it doesn't bother me at all.
