Review on Universal LED Dome Light with Switch - Premium Car Interior Reading Light for ATV UTV Truck 4x4 Ranger Offroad - White/Red LED Lights by LZHOU TECH by George Utley

I ordered this version and the RGBW version for comparison (see attached video). The RGBW version is actually useless (see video or my separate review) but this white/red version COULD be very good if the internals were of higher quality or passed stricter quality control. The item I received was defective right away. It looks like both switches or some internal components are shorted, causing random red or white lights (see video). The switches appeared to be defective as pressing them was crap. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't. Otherwise I like this lamp very much. It SEEMS well built (at least from the outside) and has a metal body (pot metal? aluminum?). The light output is excellent, should be ideal for most applications. Not insanely bright, so doesn't draw a lot of power either (consider battery drain), but not incredibly dark (like the RGBW version). Revain is sending me a replacement product. I will test it before installing it on my Land Cruiser. If it seems to be working properly and surviving a bit of torture I'll update this review and probably add a few stars. If I get another bad device I will downgrade this rating to one star. Let the buyer be alert.
