First item arrived broken. But the packaging box was warped, so I ordered again despite other reviews. No other mount was as low or ideal for a terrarium. I'm so glad I did. The second arrived in perfect condition. Rugged metal body, blue plastic end caps that glow when the light is on. I put some glass vase filler stones to one side to deflect the light from me as it is very bright. It has a switch and a real plug. (USB adapter not required). As a smart person I can see where I'll probably end up ordering another one and using it for some other project lighting needs. Good light!
