Damn good Primer: Eyes

Firstly, if you don't use primer when applying eye make-up, you're doing yourself a disservice! Ladies (and gentlemen :D), whichever brand you end up buying, trust me, eye primers are generally easy to apply and dry quickly. Eye makeup is a long and delicate process and you need to protect your investment! How does this primer work? Great! I have used Urban Decay Potion and Smashbox Photo Finish Eye Primer and they are of equal quality. The only difference is the actual price (cheaper) so this is a great buy. The texture is smooth; it remains largely clear and dries clear. Doesn't feel sticky or dry and doesn't irritate my skin at all. Photo #2: Primer pattern below, unprimed pattern above. As you can see, you get a much richer color and a much more comfortable surface for applying eyeshadow. Photo #3: This is where it gets interesting. I vigorously applied a wad of hand lotion to the same samples. I rubbed it in really well to mimic sweating, blinking, oils and anything else your eye makeup might be exposed to during the day. The unprimed sample erased completely, but the primed sample held up remarkably well! Water. I've been cleaning for a while and can't get it out XD. This primer really works! Not sure if it shows in the photo, but some of the shimmery bits of my eyeshadow are *still there* on my hand, even after wiping them off with a towel. You absolutely must pair this with a decent eye makeup remover.
