This beautiful silver aluminum stand has a wide range of height adjustments, see the photo I took - suitable for both low and high positions. The support arm and platform are very well made, fairly snug and solid (use a little force to tip around the corner, girls might feel a little too tight but I actually prefer it to be tighter), and feel probably when I put my laptop down. It is very stable and secure without worrying about the laptop falling over if accidentally hitting the stand. Still portable enough to put in my backpack and use with my laptop in the office for collaboration. Looks like it will fit perfectly on a 12-16 inch laptop with no issues. I put an iPad Pro 12.5 inch on it, another use case, and it works fine too.
