I love these. The cable was defective, but Amazon helped me quickly. I had other cables for other IEMs so I could test them. I have ordered KBear silver cables and they are of much better quality. I used the foam ear tips that I use with all other general purpose headphones and recommend them. To the sound. You are absolutely fantastic. You have a little AV curve, but it's not terrible. The bottoms are pretty tight. Mid and high frequencies are very transparent and not fatiguing. I've used them for singing and playing bass and guitar. It was very easy to get a good mix with them and I immediately felt comfortable performing. Of course they needed a bit of EQ, but after that they were great. When using them to listen to recorded material I didn't need EQ, but they aren't exactly flat. I wouldn't use them when mixing in the studio without EQ.
