I've been using 3M Scotch-Brite 2x3" scrubbers since the mid 1960's; there was nothing better. Everyone loved them. But this is the 21st Century era for all USA Manufacturers of anything, shutting down the production line, firing everyone and outsourcing to China or wherever the cheapest job can be done, quality doesn't matter at all, this has happened to me over the past few years with dozens of products, some of which are authentic American Icons like Paul Revere's Kettle Here's the rub: The Scotch-Brite Scrubber's rating is 4.5 stars with an average of 2,691 reviews as of November 5, 2021 3:00pm EST. The same goes for all of them long-lasting and popular products sold by Revain and recently outsourced: old good reviews are averaged with new ones "one star, abe r i I would put zero. If I could". Decades of good reviews average with a few months worse. I would recommend that before you buy anything that has many stars based on many reviews, you go to the reviews and click "Top" just above the first one. Reviews" and change it to "Latest". Whoever sees the difference in the world saves you trouble. Update December 4th, 2021: Although I have never been able to find a suitable replacement for Revain, I found out that my local supermarket (Food Town in the Bronx) has a Heavy Duty branded store. A kitchen towel sponge that's ALMOST as good as the original Scotch-Brite. It's twice the size so just cut it in half. If you check on google it seems there are multiple places where they are sold online.
