My first monitor arrived with loose connections but I contacted the seller and Ellie sent a replacement very quickly. Let's face it, there are many similar portable monitors out there, and they work equally well. But four things particularly impress me. 1) The support was second to none. I received email replies within 12 hours and my replacement was shipped. 2) The Geoyeao brand is well understated (i.e. not physically displayed on the monitor). I don't need to explain why I'm using a brand that sounds like Batman and Robin beating the bad guys. 3) Video and audio are better than expected. After reading some other reviews I thought both monitors were fine, but I use several laptops including the Surface and working on this monitor doesn't cause any audio or video degradation. Sure it won't beat a widescreen TV in terms of brightness and volume, but it's more than enough. 4) Crazy Settings You Can Make With This Monitor In No Time! My Surface is connected to the monitor via a USB-C to HDMI hub, and I'm using the included USB3.1 C-to-C cable to connect the switch directly to the display (this monitor uses the same chipset like the switch dock). . /Samsung Dex to make it "just work"). Just plug it in and I can briefly pause, power off and be right back in my dual monitor developer setup. No fuss, no fuss. It's not a must-have gadget, but it comes close, especially since I'll be using this monitor long after my current laptop/phone/switch has become obsolete.
