Review on Fujifilm Instax Camera Piano Black by Carlos Macy

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Soft, blurry and undeveloped photos

I liked the idea of this camera, it's small (it's actually not small at all, it's huge) and offers instant gratification by giving you a printed photo in less than 5 minutes. Since photography is my hobby, on a good day I would immediately go outside and start taking some photos. I noticed that even when the shots were sharp, they were so blurry in focus that it was hard to make out anything, they just looked blurry. Out of 10 photos I had 1 worth saving. The rest appeared either too dark, out of focus, partly only half developed or completely out of focus. At $14 a piece for only 10 photos I don't want to test it further if it makes me buy 3 packs just to get some decent photos. It's really hard to see through the viewfinder, my eyelashes were always in the way. The camera is awkward to hold if you have small hands, and awkward to carry around because it's not as compact. Instead, I chose an Instax smartphone printer so I can use my camera phone and print my photos that way. It cost a little more money but my photos come out a lot sharper and I have the option to edit the photo a bit before printing.
