Great price, quality box, easy to use!

This is a very good box for the price and looks very nice. Easy to set up and folds up quickly for storage under a bed or in a closet. The material is a durable canvas that is easy to clean by hosing and wiping. Adjustment is made by connecting the top two bars together, connecting them by retracting the spring-loaded connector and aligning the two bars, and then loosening the connector that holds the bars together and adds structure to the top. It's very easy. A metal frame is installed at the bottom of the box, which requires no installation. When it's fully installed, it's the width of a door, so we can move it from room to room without removing it. He is light. There is a carry handle on the top so we can move it around easily (though not with our dog inside, of course). We bought this for my 30 lb spaniel to sleep in. She is partially blind but sees very poorly when she sleeps. the day; shadows and general movements. She is completely blind at night in the dark and should not be left indoors unattended as she will trip on stairs, bump into furniture etc. She likes this cage because it is closed (as opposed to a more open metal box). and closed. Open spaces allow her to feel safe in the dark. This is a medium sized dog and we have a decorative pillow and two blankets inside for her to sleep on. She spends some time in this cage during the day when we are eating or when we are having company because strangers scare her because of her visual impairment. Our bitch is one year old, so still a puppy. she chews I caught her nibbling on the screen on the door of that box and got her to stop before she did anything. She just chewed when we put her in the cage and now she's ready to play not sleep. It's a rarity. However, if you have a dog that likes to chew a lot and you plan on keeping the dog in this crate unattended for a long period of time, this could be a problem for you. It's the same with claws. Again, our dog is medium sized but not very strong or with large claws. She is not aggressive but gets very agitated when strangers approach her. We put it in a box in advance when waiting for guests. When the doorbell rings, she freaks out and easily scratches the mesh of the door frame and the inner fabric of the drawer. This has stretched the mesh a bit in places, but the mesh has not ripped or torn. As I mentioned earlier about chewing, if you have a dog that digs and scratches and you plan to leave him in this cage unattended for an extended period of time, the dog could damage the mesh. I would not recommend this crate for all day unsupervised use unless you have a very calm, trained or mature dog that does not chew or scratch. Great for controlled use with any dog, you can stop unwanted chewing or scratching at any time. Sleeping at night when the dog is quiet and just needs a safe, closed bed is ideal for our needs; lock her up every now and then during the day and when she maybe has to stay home alone and we can't allocate her a room. While we usually leave her in the kitchen or living room where she's fine, this drawer will come in handy for that short time when for some reason it's not possible. Overall I am very happy with the box and the price. We call it "my dog's house". My six year old daughter loves to take our dog inside and lie down with her to cuddle and rub her tummy. This size is extremely large for my medium sized dog but needed the extra space for the purposes we wanted it for. We could certainly put my two dogs there if we wanted. Attempting to train my dog in a crate my 6ft 1in 190lb husband crawled in to show her everything is fine and even though it's curled up it still fits! This is not suitable for cage training because it is too big. , Take the smaller size if you plan to use it to train/groom your dog.
